After numerous teasers, and much speculation, the first real photo of the 2014 Mazda6 has leaked onto a Russian website.
Looking close to AutoGuide’s rendering, the photo shows the face of the car, looking more sculpted than the previous generation. The 2014 Mazda6 adopted the brands Kodo design language, and because of it has more flowing lines incorporated.
Though engine details are still unconfirmed, a tip received by AutoGuide from a Chicago area dealer suggests that a 2.5-liter SkyActiv gasoline engine will be available right away, followed by the SkyActiv-D diesel engine sometime in late 2013. The gas option should produce around 170 hp, while the diesel variant will make 165 hp and as much as 300 lb-ft of torque.
